We use only strictly necessary storage by default. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you switch them on.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage, pixels and SDKs. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of them. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another company), and "session" (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" (kept until they expire or you delete them).
2. How we use cookies
Strictly necessary
Needed for the Site to work and to remember your privacy choices. Because the Site cannot function properly without them, they cannot be switched off in our preferences panel, but you can block them in your browser.
Analytics (optional)
Help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. Loaded only after you opt in.
Marketing (optional)
Help us measure and personalize advertising about the Roadster on other websites. Loaded only after you opt in. Under California law this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out at any time on Your Privacy Choices.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
rr_consent_v1 (local storage) | reservation-roadster.us | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choices and whether a Global Privacy Control signal was detected | Until you clear site data |
| Server log data | Our hosting provider | Strictly necessary | Security, fraud prevention and reliability (no cookie is set) | Up to 14 months |
| Analytics cookies | [ANALYTICS PROVIDER — if used] | Analytics | Aggregate visit statistics | [DURATION] |
| Advertising cookies | [ADVERTISING PROVIDER — if used] | Marketing | Ad measurement and retargeting | [DURATION] |
We use Google Fonts to display typography. When your browser loads a font, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of the request; no cookies are set by this service. See Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Managing your preferences
- Our preferences panel: use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to change your choices at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically switch off marketing cookies for that browser.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean we can't remember your choices, so the cookie banner may reappear.
- Industry opt-outs: you can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
5. Do Not Track
There is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals, so we do not respond to them separately. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above and in our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to this Policy
If we add or change cookies, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. If a change requires new consent, we will ask for it again.
